Beautiful layout with very tough elevations & bunkers. Greens held well & were difficult. One of the best public courses in the state - give it 4 and 1/2 stars.

Played early in the year and conditions weren't great. Layout is fun and there are some challenging holes. I liked the feel of this course and had an enjoyable round. Greens were Ok for the time we played. Will be back to play it again.

I've played this course a handful of times and always look forward to the challenge and quality of the course. I was sorely disappointed in the shape of the course. There were a lot of areas in the fairways that had major damage from the heat or some such thing. Several fairways had burned stripes that you'd see from an oil leak on a mower. Despite the heat and dry summer to this point, the greens were extremely soft and in terrible shape. A lot of pitch marks and spike marks. No true roll on a single green. For the money, the course was in terrible shape. Regardless of the weather, there's no excuse for this considering the fees they charge. I like this course, but wouldn't recommend going to it until mid-2011 in hopes that the cosmetic problems get fixed by then.

Day 72 - 100 days, 100 courses (Friday, May 24, 2019)
I LOVE going out in the morning and playing 18 at my pace before it gets hot.
Today I got bored at the hotel so went to the course early and they sent me out on the back 9 because it was empty.
The course had a lot of nice holes and my only complaint is with Mother Nature. 3 straight days of an inch or more of rain makes for one very wet course.
I lost two balls and in spite of that, I shot an 84.
